Abstract: The research articles is to measure the knowledge on Diabetes, medication usage and its complications for type 2 diabetic patients at the Kafue General Hospital.50 patients with Diabetes mellitus type 2 were taken in this research. The paper was used by Random sampling method. A cross-sectional and descriptive study as taken on the diabetic type 2 patients. 50 questionnaires were administered to the diabetic type 2 patients to assess their knowledge on Diabetes type 2, its medication usage and complications. The research paper analyzed data using SPSS 16.0. The level of knowledge of the patients’ were asked through the questions about on symptoms of hypoglycemia, type of medication taken and to take their medicine in concerns to food as well as complications of type 2 Diabetes mellitus. Knowledge about hypoglycemia was considered to be adequate if the patient could correctly identify eating sugary foods as an action to take when the patient’s blood sugar level had gone low. The information about diabetes was more patients with requirement, which are covers history of diabetes in families, who are length of diagnosis and who are with type 2 diabetic problems. The present research has shown that type 2 Diabetic patient’s diabetic patients in the area under study had a poor level of knowledge about complications, management of hypoglycemia, consumption of alcohol in relation to medication and the regular checkup of blood sugar.

Abstract: The coronavirus which started in 2019 and later named as COVID-19 is tackled with Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Data Science technologies. Researchers all over the globe have been working together on scientific breakthroughs and researches to develop and test potential vaccines, to predict hotspots of the disease spread, and to endorse strategies and planning with the WHO to find its cure and prevent its spread. Coronavirus has created panic everywhere around the world. People are wearing mask and staying at their home all day to avoid getting infected with the virus. Economists confirmed that the outbreak will negatively impact global economy and disrupt supply chain all around the world. Recession is likely to be registered in post-pandemic world . How can technology help us recognize the path of virus spread, How Artificial Intelligence can help fight Coronavirus, Can Big Data play a vital role in minimizing coronavirus outbreak, How Top Tech firms are helping in curbing the virus spread and many more. The answers to these questions posed are addressed in variety of sources. This researcharticle briefs about how china and other affected countries are taking advantage of technology to fight coronavirus.

Abstract: Anemia is a threat to global public health, especially in developing countries. The purpose of this study was to determine the determinants of anemia in infants aged 6 months. The research method used in this study is cross sectional study. The sample in this study was 68 infants in 6 sub-districts located in Jeneponto Regency, South Sulawesi. The selection of the subdistrict will be carried out based on an agreement with the Jeneponto Health Office with consideration of the performance of health workers in the Puskesmas, especially midwives and nutrition workers who oversee the sub-district so as to enable the implementation of this study properly. Measurement of levels of H b baby is done by sampling blood of babies at 6 months old baby is done by laboratory personnel who are already certified. Data analysis uses logistic regression. The results showed that the most sex is known in the sex of men who are not anemic that is about 51.6% and about 87.5% of babies get colostrum and as many as 81.3% are still breastfed until the age of 6 months, while for most birth weight in babies who are not anemic about 98.4% while for the length of the birth body the most is ≥48 cm (82.8%) . Identifying factors related to anemia, bivariate analysis was performed to select candidate variables to be included in multivariate regression showing that maternal age (p = 0.249) , family income (p = 0.051) , ANC (p = 0.094) , breastfeeding (p = 0.095) , birth weight (p = 0.063) and birth length (p = 0.158). The results showed that the determinant factor for the incidence of anemia in 6-month infants in Jenepon to District was birth weigh.t.

Abstract: Covid-19 pandemic has changed the routines of families all over the world. From March 2020 up to today, Italian families are still struggling for adaptation. Parents of children and adolescents with a clinical diagnosis are more at risk for parental burnout, depression, and anxiety, and they are now experiencing restrictions in many services families relied on. Home-based and hospital-based interventions based on the Play Specialist’s approach have been limited due to anti-covid norms. Internationally, Play Specialist intervention has been empirically demonstrated effective in diminishing children’s negative emotions in relation to medical procedures and in increasing adaptation and compliance towards medical settings. Plus, Play Specialist’s intervention indirect effect on parental wellbeing is still unexplored. In Italy, differently from UK and USA, the Play Specialist intervention is not certified in the health-care system yet. The present study tests the effects on parental psychosocial health of a telematic adaptation of the Play Specialist approach (TPS), conducted in the post-lockdown months in Italy. Two groups of parents (N=33, Mean age=43.36, SD=9.81, Female= 66% receiving the TPS intervention, and N=33 Mean age=41.84, SD=6.15, Female=78% controls) of children in clinical conditions are compared. Parental burnout, anxiety, stress, depression, social support, and parental perception of children’s emotional problems have been measured via self-report questionnaires. Analysis of covariance reveals that the TPS group is less stressed, perceives higher social support, lower parental burnout (i.e., emotional distancing, contrast with other/previous Self, fed-up feeling), lower emotional and behavioural child’s problems than the control group. These findings are addressed at encouraging both research and practice around the Play Specialist’s intervention beyond the hospital-context.
